What should I expect for my first trial class?
For your child’s first 45 min trial class, it can be overwhelming seeing all these new faces, new activities and loud echoes of the centre, so it’s very normal for your little one to sit and watch or wander around exploring. The most important thing is that your child has fun and feels safe, so if they want to play on the castle for their entire trial, let them! As they continue to participate in the classes, their confidence grows and they understand the moving structure of activities. Parents are encouraged to stay and watch the first class to ensure their child feels safe, however ongoing parent participation is not required!
-
What do I need to bring?
A water bottle and big smiles! Our 45min classes are action-packed with plenty of activities and sports, so we recommend you prepare snacks for after the session!
-
Do parents need to participate in the classes?
Absolutely not. We encourage independent play to boost social skills and confidence. If your child requires for you to participate and attend the classes, then that’s no problem at all. However if they’re happy to be dropped off, you can enjoy 45 min of peace and quiet!
-
What happens if my child misses a class?
We offer 2 makeup classes per term. These can be done on an alternative day throughout the week, or, you can use the remaining credit in our school holiday program! Simply email info@allsportz.com.au to organise these classes.
